Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. This person will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with producing accurate estimates and managing custom sign, graphics and installation projects for new and existing clients. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, along with experience managing multiple clients and projects.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to obtain initial project information required for estimating and design
  • Consult with clients to address their signage needs and identify solutions
  • Retrieve existing artwork and monitor incoming files; facilitate the creation of client proofs
  • Provide Project Managers with accurate and timely project estimates
  • Use proofs and other project information to obtain quotes from multiple vendors; create relevant purchase orders when necessary
  • Assist Project Managers and Install Project Manager with permitting documents
  • Assist Sales Team as needed with incoming requests and on-going project management
  • Clearly communicate with clients, Project Management Team, Design Team, Production Manager, Install Manager and other Team Members to set clear expectations on project deadlines, install scheduling, and potential scheduling conflicts
  • Work with Production Manager to keep track of projects to ensure deadlines are met
  • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • Develop a deep understanding of all Signs First products and services

Experience Required

  • Project management / estimating / customer service experience: 1+ years (required)
  • Sign and graphics industry experience: 2+ years (preferred, but not required for the right candidate)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
